Lindsay Evans Memorial Park is situated on land donated by his parents Percy and Hilda in 1945. The recreation area with a pavilion, supper room with functional yet basic kitchen facilities, public toilet block, tennis courts, cricket pitch, each available for hire.

The perimeter of the park is undergoing landscape redevelopment with the first stage removal of large old pine trees complete. It is intended to replant with drought-tolerant native species.
