Keyneton Heritage Trail
Heritage Trail
A 2014 citizens’ initiative that evolved to a community-inclusive project, the opening of the Keyneton Heritage Trail was part of the 2015 Barossa Vintage Festival. The trail includes part of the Lavendar Federation Trail and the Kidman Trail.
The preservation and promotion of Keyneton (formerly North Rhine) cultural heritage through prominent identification of historic buildings and sites of significance on a public trail route of the district was the vision.
Trail guides are publicly available from dispensers located at 801 Keyneton Road – North Rhine St Petri Peter’s Lutheran Church & 903-905 Keyneton Road and downloadable from:
